My name is Peter Waters and I own and operate Roadmaster School Of Motoring. It is an independent driving school offering driving lessons to people in Boston Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.

I am a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Having qualified, I started Roadmaster School Of Motoring in 2001.

And everywhere in betweeen!

As I am self-employed, it is my reputation that I rely upon for the success of my business. I don’t employ other instructors, so you can be guaranteed to get personal tuition from myself at all times (something that you may not be able to rely upon with some of the larger national driving schools).

I suspect that, like most people, the main thing you want is to pass your Theory and Practical Tests as quickly as possible. I will do everything I can to help you achieve that. If possible with a FIRST TIME PASS!

The overall pass rate nationally is around 45%, with 1 in every 3 learners taking at least 3 attempts before passing. Since I started Roadmaster School Of Motoring in 2001, just over 75% of all my learners have passed FIRST TIME.

If you take high quality driving lessons, and ensure that you are truly able to drive independently before you go for your test, you will have the best chance of achieving that ‘First Time Pass’ and SAVE POUNDS!

I believe in teaching all pupils how to drive confidently and independently. It is important that you become a safe, competent and confident driver with the skills to be able to drive anywhere, not just around the ‘test routes’ of Boston!

This does not mean that it will necessarily take longer to learn, but simply that by carefully structuring your lessons, and using the latest teaching methods, your lessons will be more informative. You will learn the skills needed to work out for yourself how to deal with any situation you may come across in the future.

I am also registered with the DVSA to deliver Pass Plus and a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA).

I have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau, who have issued an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate entitling me to work with ‘vulnerable adults’. This is a more in depth check than is usually required by the DVSA, and enables me to work in schools and colleges.

As part of my voluntary Continued Professional Development, I completed an NVQ Level 3 in Driving Instruction. In fact, I was one of the first driving instructors to achieve this when the qualification was introduced.

Over the last 40 years I have taught, trained and instructed people of all nationalities, personalities and abilities in a variety of subjects. I consider myself to be patient and don’t do shouting. Instead I will encourage you all the way, and if you don’t understand something I will either find another way to explain it or help you to find a way that works for you. You will always be encouraged to take an active part in your own learning.

Experience has taught me that there is no one way to teach everyone. We each require individual teaching methods that suit our own needs. By working together we will find the best way for you to succeed!
